Charities We Work With

Smiling faces are the ...

best gratitude!

Professionals Resolving Obstacles (PRO) is an organization that serves as a bridge between non-profits who support children and donors who want to be assured their money is going to be used for the most good. By easing the burden of fundraising, PRO helps local charities focus more energy on the important task of helping the at-risk youth of Comal County and Guadalupe County.

How we help?

If you are a nonprofit that helps at-risk youth, we want to help you!

First, we’d like to schedule a meeting to tour your facility and find out more about your program.

Next, we will talk about the obstacles you face with raising funds or other aspects of your organization.

Then, we will help you resolve those obstacles so that you can focus on the important work of helping kids.

CC McCarter

CC spent more than 30 years working with youth in competitive soccer along with her husband, Richard, who was the Director of Coaching. It was there she realized the need to help raise funds for at risk youth to help give them the same opportunities to excel. CC would like PRO to be known as the local non-profit organization that helps bridge the gap between other local nonprofits programs and at-risk youth.

She has been a realtor for 7 years & is currently at REMAX River Cities. She enjoys spending time with her grandkids & family. CC loves reading, solving puzzles, crime shows, and who-done-it shows.

Dawn Levis

I have been in the service industry since I was 16 years old. I started waiting tables, then moved to Walmart where for 15 years I worked my way up in the company and went on to get my college degree in Business with a concentration in HR. In 2008, I chose to put my career aside after adopting 3 of our kids.

In 2016 I got my Insurance licence and started a dream to open my own Brokerage.. and in 2018 It happened! In the last 4 years I have helped over 300 families in one form or fashion. I absolutely love what I do. I know God opens the doors to helping protect families in Life and health

I would love to see PRO continue to grow in our community and hopefully be able to expand to surrounding communities.

I love to spend time with my family. my dogs, and I love shopping!

Matt Gandrud

Outreach Director
I own a State Farm Agency in New Braunfels, TX. I opened my office November 2017. I'm the Outreach Director for PRO, I helped volunteer with CC at the fair a few times then once she decided to start PRO she asked if I'd be interested in helping out. I want PRO to be a well-known non-profit in this community that can be that helping hand for those other non-profits who are on some tougher times and need some help.

I love being outside, if that's hiking trails with my dog Apollo or hanging out with friends in the river. I love being active and enjoying this beautiful area I'm blessed to call home.

Christian Cantu

My name is Christian Cantu. I was born and raised in New Braunfels and found my way back after graduating from Texas State University.

I now work with Paylocity where I help small businesses from New Braunfels to Austin with their Human Capital Management.

I really wanted to get involved with a non-profit that focuses on helping kids in need and luckily CC approached me about joining and led to me being the Treasurer of PRO. I’d love to see PRO grow to a point where everyone knows about us and wants to help in any way possible. With growth comes more kids that we can help out so that’s my goal. In my spare time I like to hang out with family and friends and watch sports!

Alicia Sayre is a social work student at Texas state university. She serves as the Executive Board Secretary of PRO. She and CC share an interest in non-profit work and both are passionate about serving at-risk youth. They wanted to create a non-profit that was focused on helping the youth in the local community.

Alicia want PRO to serve as a protective factor for the children and the organizations they assist. As PRO grows, she would like to be able to give more scholarships, internships, donations, and connections.

In her spare time, Alicia enjoys volunteering, spending time with her family and her dog, hiking, and relaxing at home.
